Luca Eros, MSMFT

THERAPIST

Luca (pronouns: she/her) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Trained in Integrative Systemic Therapy, Luca incorporates a variety of therapeutic models to meet the unique needs of her clients. She works from a strength-based and client-centered framework that prioritizes nurturing a genuine therapeutic relationship with each client. Luca invites clients to co-create a warm, curious, welcoming space in which clients can collaboratively explore their goals for growth and connection.

Luca works with individuals, couples, and families. Her clinical interests include helping clients navigate interpersonal and relationship issues; multicultural, immigration and identity work; life cycle transitions (such as premarital therapy or early parenthood); navigating medical and developmental diagnoses; and working with adult families. She primarily integrates techniques from Emotion-Focused, Acceptance and Commitment, and Narrative therapies, while adopting a collaborative, process-oriented and systemic approach to therapy that honors the richness of her clients’ lived experiences. Luca is committed to practicing cultural humility, providing LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and acknowledging her own implicit biases by exploring how larger systems impact the therapeutic space.

Luca received her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at The Family Institute at Northwestern University, and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Yale University. Before pursuing her career in Marriage and Family Therapy, Luca worked with a community research team providing therapeutic services for families with children on the Autism spectrum, a foundational experience that has shaped her systemic thinking and community-based view of mental healthcare.

She is supervised by Nosheen Hydari, LMFT, and Simona Cirio, LMFT.
